Departmental Research Committee

Purpose

The Departmental Research Committee (DRC) of the Department of Mathematics is responsible for addressing any academic grievances raised by PhD scholars affiliated with the department and/or their guides. The DRC will also decide the allotment of research scholars to guides. This allotment will be based on the preferences of both the research scholar and the proposed guide and should preferably be completed as early as possible, but no later than the first enrolled semester. The DRC will advise the students admitted to the department/centre till advisors have been allocated.
